Staff / Keyworkers
Baby room co-ordinators always have a minimum of 2 years experience working with babies. All baby room teams receive specialist training to work with this age group.
We operate a keyworker system. This means that when your child starts nursery they will be allocated a carer who will carry out your child's settling in visits, liaise with you on a regular basis about their development and they will be responsible for all aspects of caring for your child such as nappy changing, feeding, one to one activities etc.
This will have benefits for both you and your baby. They will feel more secure by having one main carer at nursery and have a close relationship with their keyworker. This relationship will enable the keyworker to respond sensitively to your child's needs and communicate with you knowledgeably about your child's stage of development.
